Signe Constable is a digital and analogue photographer known for her distinctive vision. Growing up homeschooled, she developed a connection to diverse cultures and environments, evident in her work. At the age of 19 Constable became the youngest artist featured in the Bermuda Biennial (2014). Her photography has been exhibited and published in Bermuda, USA, Canada, England, and Japan. Her lens reflects a deep appreciation for recognizing the unique beauty in everyday moments and people.

She says: “In my series Onions, I delve into the Bermudian experience within the mundane through analogue photography. Each image is completely unedited, the double exposure technique used allows for two (or more) photos to be taken on the same piece of film. You will never fully know how the subjects meld together until the film is developed. Onions is a journey of contemplation and discovery, where ordinary moments are elevated to the extraordinary, encouraging a renewed appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.”
