I have used my alter ego, Piran Strange, as a means to have confidence in displaying and selling my works. I call my exhibitions ‘Displaying the Inner Piran’. Piran has evolved and created a fine persona, who ploughs all funds back into creating Piran Strange Junior Art Prizes recently as part of the National Open Art Competition in the UK. His prize was the largest Junior Art Prize in the UK and has helped young artists to start their careers.
