Multimedia artist Lynn Morrell works with metal, fabric, paper
and paint. Primarily a jeweller, she says: “My primary interest
is metalwork, but my second love is fabric. I have always loved
textiles and some of my earliest memories are of sitting at my
grandmother’s feet and listening to the rhythmic sounds of her
Treadle sewing machine, which I still have.”
Here, Morrell captures an aerial view of Bermuda’s densely
packed neighbourhoods, the whitewashed roofs abstracted yet
instantly recognizable.
