My work has always been very personal, in that I have a deep curiosity about the environments I inhabit, be they physical, mental, virtual or actual, and I ‘use’ art to try to understand how I relate to these spaces. Oftentimes I feel like I do not fit in that well, so my work becomes a way for me to express that feeling of ‘otherness’ and to look at alternative ways of being.
