The root of my inspiration is the fractal pattern of moving water and light in the weathered limestone tide pools of Bermuda. It has informed my work since 1990. Looking deeply, subject and scale become irrelevant. Seeing beyond the clutter of identity and meaning, the mind opens to clarity and vastness. The boundaries between artist, subject, artwork and viewer dissolve. Through the window of such work, the mind opens to freedom and deep satisfaction.
