On Saturday, October 5 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Bermuda National Gallery, join Bermudian jeweller Melanie Eddy as she hosts a two-hour Concept Sketching workshop.
This workshop delves into Melanie Eddy’s process of conceptualizing and sketching jewellery designs. Melanie, whose bold geometric forms are internationally celebrated, will guide participants through the stages of developing a concept sketch. Drawing on architectural principles and her Bermuda-inspired aesthetic, she will demonstrate how to create jewellery designs that blend form and function.
The cost of the workshop is $60 for BNG members and $75 for non-members. Limited to 12 spaces. Ages 16+ welcome.
Attendees are requested to bring a 8.5 by 11 inch or larger sketchbook, drawing materials, 12 (non-jewellery) images that inspire you (printed copies are preferred, but in a folder on your phone is an acceptable alternative).
