Join us for Run for the Arts

Join us on Sunday, April 21, for the BNG Run for the Arts 5K sponsored by Chubb. The event features a competitive run, along with a fun run/walk. Organised by BNG and Nhuri Bashir in collaboration with Donna Raynor and Domico Watson, the event is open to all — those who consider themselves serious athletes, as well as those who don’t!
This is not just a race but a community endeavour: a chance to support the vibrant atmosphere in North-East Hamilton, and to help raise funds for the arts!
Your race will help:
- To finance a vibrant public art programme, with the installation of additional large-scale murals in the North-East Hamilton area to highlight and promote the area’s communities.
- To fund a paid placement on the BNG Internship Programme for a student from the area, providing professional development in all aspects of museum operations, and opening the door to a career in the arts.
- To support the Bermuda National Gallery’s 2024 education department and programming initiatives, offering enriching educational experiences in the arts for learners of all ages.
The event will feature a competitive run, alongside a fun run/walk.
All events start at 8:30am. Entry fees for each category are as follows:
- $15 Youth (under 20) Walker/Runner
- $35 Competitive Run
- $30 Competitive Walk
- $25 Non-Competitive Run/Walk
Race registration includes a Run for the Arts 5K t-shirt. Race numbers & Run for the Arts 5K shirts can be collected from Bermuda National Gallery on the 2nd floor of the City Hall & Arts Centre on Saturday, April 20 from 10AM – 1PM.
