The Green family and the Bermuda National Gallery (BNG) invite your school to participate in an exciting Mural Contest, where students will have the opportunity to create a large-scale public artwork at the construction site of Luscar Place (formerly the Belvedere Building).
Contest Details:
Date: April 30, 2025
Theme: Bermuda in the style of Andy Warhol. Design proposals should be submitted for approval by Friday April 11, by emailing either a short description or a photograph/ digital mockup of your mural to programming@bng.bm.
Who Can Participate? A team of up to 15 Upper Primary or Middle School students ages 9 to 14.
Location: Construction hoardings at Luscar Place, Pitts Bay Road
Provided Materials: All art supplies, T-shirts, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
Mural Size: Each school will have one 8 ft x 8 ft space (two 8 ft x 4 ft plywood hoardings) to complete their mural on.
Judging: A panel made up of representatives from the Green family and BNG will select the winning murals.
