The BNG Run for The Arts 5K, organised by Nhuri Bashir and Bermuda National Gallery, in collaboration with Donna Raynor, and Domico Watson, was conceived of as not just a race, but a community endeavour – a chance to support the vibrant atmosphere in North-East Hamilton, and to help raise funds for the arts!
The race supports three key initiatives:
A community fun-run/walk, which provides an opportunity for sports and arts to come together for a family-friendly celebratory event featuring art activities and performers.
A vibrant public art programme, with the installation of large-scale murals in the North-East Hamilton area, created by local artists to highlight and promote the area’s communities.
Bermuda National Gallery’s educational programming, offering enriching educational experiences in the arts for learners of all ages, including free tours and BNG Kids Activity Booklets.
