4 Week Yoga Series: Let it Go
Toni Morrison wrote in Song of Solomon, "If you want to fly, you've got to give up the sh*t that weighs you down." For this series, Tiffany Paynter invites you to join her at BNG every Monday to lose weight: the weight of other people's expectations, the weight of old and familiar worries, the weight of past hurts and disappointments; anything that is keeping you from feeling uplifted, peaceful and happy. Each class we'll use yoga and joyful music to uplift your mind, body and spirit. Carve out time for yourself every Monday from 1-2pm.
Tiffany, a two-time Bermuda Biennial artist, studied at the International Sivananda School and is a co-founder of the Peace Within Prison Yoga Programme. She recently launched SOHAM, a social enterprise dedicated to providing lifelong, practical mental health tools to young people, parents, educators and youth service providers through yoga.
This series runs on May 30, June 6, 13 & 27. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Individual classes are $20 for BNG members and $25 for non-members.
The class is open to beginners. Alternative poses will be given for more advanced students. Please bring your own yoga mat.
